Shimeji Creatives was approached to help a social impact gaming app connect with generous individuals, local charities and purpose-driven enterprises. 

The goal was to lay the narrative foundation for the mobile app launch, introduce the brand as a social impact innovator, and make it possible to build strong relationships with non-profit organizations and enterprise partners. 


A fun giving experience was the point of departure for connecting the two brand nexuses - social impact and gaming. We centred the narrative around the giving experience itself. Doing something good for others makes us feel good - having fun while doing so expands the narrative emphasis and broadens the impact.

Brand storytelling with purpose 

80% of charities have yearly budgets of less than £100,000, and half of all charities in the UK operate with under £10,000 per year. Our brand narrative had to reverberate the brand’s commitment to empowering smaller charities to make their resources go further while raising funds from the people in their community. The brand recognizes the power of many individuals coming together. Therefore, we introduced the brand narrative concept of "infinity giving" and its infinite potential for impact. 

As the brand and application evolved into a social-impact gaming app, we encouraged the founding team to expand the vision and purpose of the brand. The brand narrative and strategy project, expanded to include the need for a fresh and dynamic new brand name. 

GIVVI wanted to evoke feelings of generosity and fun while doing good. Refreshing and optimistic, the founders are launching their app to showcase a new perspective on charitable giving and local impact.
